There are 36 water sources altogether on the territory of the Municipality of Vratsa, including 29 catchments, 1 mineshaft and 6 pipe wells. The impounded springs, which supply drinking and domestic water for the villages in the Municipality of Vratsa and the town of Vratsa are 14, and their flow rate is 110 450 l/sec.
